19-year old Afro-Latina Seina is an up and coming Filmmaker and All-Around Artist who's content is sure to make you smile. As an advocate for all things Performing Arts related, it's no surprise that this self-taught ukulele player has already penned several original songs.

 

Seina is a Singer-Songwriter and Dancer, Print Model, Actress, Writer, Producer, Director, Editor, and Director of Photography majoring in Film at SCAD.  Early in her entertainment career, she studied dance at Rockwell Dance Academy with world-renowned B-Girl and HipHop Dance Instructor, Honey Rockwell.  She appeared on the Netflix Original Series Stranger Things 3 in 2019.  She has also had an opportunity to work with Speech Thomas (Arrested Development front-man) and his wife Yolanda Thomas at the Victory Spot

With an extensive theatre background, Seina is a GA Thespian Society Member, who directed and stage managed multiple high school productions, and was cast in several lead and supporting roles in theatre productions such as "Brooke Windham" in Legally Blonde, "Katherine" in Newsies, and "Beneatha" in A Raisin in the Sun.  As an outstanding academic scholar and theatrical student, Seina is the 2022 ArtsBridge Foundation Shuler Award Winner for Technical Theatre as the $5000 recipient of the Mamie Words & Rosabelle Allen Technical Theatre Scholarship sponsored by BlackLight Productions.

 

Currently, as a Filmmaker, Seina owns and operates her own film production company, Protag Productions, where she enjoys writing, directing and producing original short film projects.  She is a second year film student at SCAD, where she's already utilized her skills to contribute to multiple film and television projects, such as the historic and impactful upcoming documentaryWTDL.   Not only did Seina play a foundational role on the production team, she was also cast a featured dancer and background actress in the WTDL docu-film.  With all that Seina is up to, you don't want to miss a thing.  Be sure to check her out on Insta.
